Lara Croft's Demon Battle Through Tartarus She screamed and flailed her arms as she fell, Lara Croft didn’t know how to break the fall. There didn’t seem be any ledges to grab onto, she felt as if her fall would go on forever. Lara never expected this to happen, nobody ever planned on falling down bottomless holes. Just when it looked like there would be no end, Lara felt herself touch solid ground and groaned as soon as she hit the bottom, having landed on her back after what felt like a long fall. How many bones did she break? Lara rose to her feet, dusting herself off and rubbing her lower back. To her surprise, despite having a few aches, she was just fine. Lara stretched and surveyed her surroundings, wherever she was, this place looked ominous and creepy at the same time. Jagged, rocky stalactites dangled from the ceiling above and small rocks lay on the barren, red ground. Lara could also see spooky and demonic faces carved into the nearby rocks, the ceiling was dark-red and the rocks were orange.
